1. Do you have a Turbo Bar? (this is a bar that has small pin holes, runs the width of the stove above the rear firebrick)
- If NO then you have a MKII
- If YES you have either a CE or CEVII
2. Is the baffle plate a flat steel plate or a large plate shaped like a roof?
- Flat Steel only Plate = You have a CE Version (go to No.3)
- Shaped like a roof = You have a CEVII Version
3. If you have a CE, the last thing to identify is whether you have retained Side Plates or simple side plates:
- Retained – the side bricks sit on a ledge on the side plate and run up.
- Simple – the side bricks sit directly behind the side plate and run from the base of the stove up.
4. If you have a CEVII then you will have simple side plates.
- NB (In 2006, due to ‘CE’ Approval the grate bars were changed slightly. This resulted in the length of the High Bars being reduced and also the patten changed. Although the ‘New Bars’ will fit the old MK1 models they will NOT fit alongside the old bars and therefore a full set will be required.)
